What is an Endowment?
An Endowment Fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of financial support for the church. The assets are invested permanently, and a portion of the fund’s earnings can be used to fulfill its intended purpose. This ensures the church can continue its ministry and mission long into the future.

 

What funds the Endowment?
Some individuals contribute special gifts to the Endowment Fund at various times, while others include the church in their wills or estate plans, designating a portion of their estate to the Endowment Fund.

 

How does the Endowment benefit Horizons?
The Endowment Fund provides vital financial support to ensure God’s work continues through our church. The earnings can be used to support ministries and activities beyond those covered by the regular operating budget.
