We are currently in Phase 1 and plan to move to Phase 2 at the beginning of August. This includes re-opening our in-person services. There are three ways to attend church in Phase 2: in person, watch parties at homes, and online. We are closely monitoring guidelines from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and the CDC. You can access the Nebraska DHHS guidelines here. We can’t wait to be back together again while being safe. Please note these dates may be subject to change depending on the situation.
Our online campus is here to stay! We believe this is an important ministry at our church. Our online campus has proved to be such a powerful tool for our mission to Lead all to Jesus to become Life-Changed, Life-Changers.
Check out our services and online resources for all ages.
Attending church means something different now:
During Phase 1 (currently):
During Phase 2 (starting Aug 2):
We want to ensure each church experience is going to be the best it can be, whether you are going to join us online or in person. There is no right way to attend a church service right now. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible with the decision you make!
When you arrive, you can park and walk to the entrance with your household keeping a 6-foot distance from other households. There will be hosts to assist you in the building and Worship Center.
At all times we will ask you to maintain a 6-foot safe distance and wear a mask as you move through and sit in building. Hosts will help you find your reserved seating in the Worship Center. We are asking you to not congregate in the atrium before or after services to maintain social distancing. We know the time in the atrium is a big part of the experience for many of you and we encourage you to find other ways to connect with people at Horizons. Some ways to connect with others are by joining our Facebook group, Growth Track, a LifeGroup, or by inviting a few people to your home as you’re comfortable.
Yes, during Phase 2 we still want to meet in person, but we are looking to keep you safe. Some differences will include no physical programs, and we will not be passing communion/offering. We will have offering boxes mounted on the back walls in the worship center for you to drop your offering in or you can give online. The experience will still include worship (though it may be projected for a time), teaching, and communion (the 1st Sunday of the month).
We do not anticipate normal kid’s programming until Phase 3. Your child (birth – 8th grade) will join you in the Worship Center. Here are some helpful tips to make it a great time for them:
We are taking every step of precaution as prescribed by the CDC to ensure that Horizons is safe, secure, and spacious for your family.
